How to Be a Happier Parent | KJ Dell'Antonia, The New York Times

KJ Dell’Antonia, mother of four and hockey mom extraordinaire, chats with us from New Hampshire about all the things she learned writing her new book How to Be a Happier Parent: Raising a Family, Having a Life, and Loving (Almost) Every Minute (August 21, 2018: pre-order now). I’ve admired this week’s guest for a long time. I would often share her New York Times Motherlode blogs on our atomic moms social media #naptimereads. We’re breaking down some of the parenting “challenge spots”; that's her phrase; mine would be "moments that make me laugh-cry and want to check into a hotel by myself."  We're talking chores, discipline, screen time, and getting ready in the morning. I also share fabulous #atomicmama listener tips for how to be a happier parent! xx Ellie Knaus, mom-in-chief
